Internships

Explore the world
of professional
possibilities

Gain hands-on
experience with two
paid internships.

You don’t have to commit to a path just because it’s what your friends are doing or what other people think you should do. At 5th Year, we provide you with the time and space to decide what you want to do with the rest of your life.

Whether you want to enter the workforce or pursue a college degree, it helps to have a sense of direction to guide you on your journey.

What are your interests? Do you work better in a group or on your own?

The answers to those questions will determine the type of career that can bring you success and happiness. Working at an internship can help you identify your passion and match it with career opportunities you might not have considered.

Internships
At 5th Year

An internship presents a chance to learn about a company’s team, processes and culture. Experiencing what it’s like to work in the field allows you to define your ideal career. Regardless of where you end up, participating in a 5th Year internship provides you with first-hand knowledge and real-world experiences to develop your professional skills.

What to Expect

5th Year offers two 13-week paid internships at two businesses in Northwest Ohio. Your first internship begins in August and ends in December. You start work at a different company in January and complete your tenure in May.

As an intern, you earn $15 an hour and work 24 hours per week. Your role and responsibilities are determined by your employer. Your input and opinions allow us to pair you with the appropriate career.
